Your CoD sens will feel fast in Valorant
The math is exact: 7.0 in Modern Warfare is about 0.66 in Valorant at the same DPI, and a 180 covers the same distance on your pad. But CoD habits run hot. Slide cancels, jump shots, and close-range hip fire all reward fast turns, and short controller-lobby TTKs train constant motion.
Valorant is the opposite: hold an angle, click a head. A large share of converts start at the exact converted value and end up 10-20% lower within a few weeks. Make that drop in steps, one notch at a time, so your muscle memory follows.
ADS settings do not map
CoD's ADS sensitivity system (relative, affected, legacy) scales differently per optic and has no Valorant counterpart. Valorant uses a single scoped multiplier with a default of 1.0, and it only matters on the Operator, Marshal, Outlaw, and rifle zooms.
Leave it at 1.0 until scoped flicks feel wrong, then adjust that one value. Do not try to reproduce your CoD per-optic setup; the game does not support it and you will chase ghosts.
