How the Steam to FACEIT match works
FACEIT ties every account to the Steam profile it plays CS2 on. We read the Steam64 ID from the profile you paste, find the FACEIT account registered to it, and pull that player's public level, ELO, and lifetime stats.
If someone never linked FACEIT to that Steam account, there is nothing to show, and the result will tell you so plainly. For bans, account age, and trust-factor signals, run the same profile through the rep checker.
Why check someone's FACEIT before you trust their rank
Premier rating and FACEIT ELO tell two different stories about the same player. Premier resets every season and can be inflated by a lucky calibration; FACEIT ELO is a long grind against a sweatier pool, so it is much harder to fake. When a "10k Premier" teammate hits shots like a level 10, the FACEIT lookup is how you check which story is true.
The same goes for scouting a fifth for your team, vetting a suspiciously good opponent before you queue again, or checking whether the account selling itself as "high ELO" in a trade actually is. One Steam URL answers it either way.

Why can't I find someone's FACEIT account?
Either they never made one, or their FACEIT account is linked to a different Steam account than the one you pasted. Smurfs do this constantly: the FACEIT account sits on a clean Steam login while they queue Premier on another. If the lookup comes up empty, run the profile through our rep checker instead; the Steam-side signals are visible either way.
What is a good FACEIT level in CS2?
Level 10 starts at 2,001 ELO and is where pro scouts actually look. Most of the player base sits between levels 3 and 6. If you hold level 7 or higher through a full season, you are comfortably above the average FACEIT player, and well above the average matchmaking player, since FACEIT skews sweatier than Premier to begin with.
Is FACEIT ELO the same as Premier rating?
No. They are separate systems that never talk to each other. Premier's CS Rating comes from Valve matchmaking; FACEIT ELO comes from FACEIT matches only. A 20,000 Premier player might be FACEIT level 6, and a level 10 might barely play Premier. Comparing the two directly is a common mistake.
Does this work for private Steam profiles?
Usually, yes. The FACEIT link depends on the Steam64 ID, not on what the Steam profile shows publicly. As long as we can resolve the ID from the URL you pasted, the FACEIT lookup works even when the Steam profile itself is private.
