What kind of bans these are
CS2 accounts can be banned in several different ways, and they are not the same thing. Here is how the 343 banned players on this list break down, and what each ban type actually means.

Game bans
A ban issued by the game itself. For CS2 this is the Overwatch and server-side detection pipeline, which catches behaviour VAC's signature scan does not, like blatant aim assistance or griefing.

VAC bans
Valve Anti-Cheat detected a known cheat running on the machine during a VAC-secured match. VAC bans are permanent, automatic, and shared across every VAC-secured game on the account.

Community bans
A restriction on the Steam Community profile (trading, comments, and profile visibility), usually for scamming, spam, or abusive conduct rather than in-match cheating.

Trade bans
An economy ban that blocks trading and Steam Market access, typically tied to scam reports or a chargeback. It does not stop the account from playing.
How this data is built
Every account reported through the Nohax.club report tool is checked against Steam's official public API for a ban, 2,878 accounts so far. When Steam shows a ban on one of them, we record the ban type and the date it was issued.
The report date is our own: the first time someone flagged the account here. The ban date comes from Steam. The gap between the two is the report-to-ban time you see above. All of it is public Steam data; we add nothing that is not already visible on the profile itself.
The counts on this page update automatically as new bans land. There is no manual curation and no editorial judgement in who appears. An account is listed when, and only when, Valve has banned it.
What this data can and cannot tell you
- 01It is not causal. We report accounts; Valve bans them independently. The report-to-ban time measures how early our community noticed, not any effect our reports had.
- 02The lead-time median excludes the 120 accounts that were already banned when they were first reported here. You cannot lead a ban that already happened.
- 03Steam gives a ban date for VAC and game bans but not for community- or trade-only bans, so 79 banned accounts have no report-to-ban figure and sit outside the timing stats.

Does Nohax.club ban these players?
No. We cannot ban anyone; only Valve can. This page lists accounts that our community reported and that Valve later banned on its own. The report-to-ban time simply shows how early the community spotted them.
How often is the list updated?
An automated job checks every reported account against Steam's public API once a day and adds any newly banned profiles. The statistics recompute at the same time, so the counts you see are never more than a day behind Steam.
A player on this list is not banned anymore. Why?
VAC and game bans are permanent, but the display reflects the state Steam reported at the last daily check. If Steam's data changes, the next sweep updates it. Trade and community restrictions can also be lifted, unlike VAC.
Can I get a player added to this list?
Only indirectly. Report the account through the report tool. If Valve later bans it, it appears here automatically. We never add a player by hand and never list anyone Valve has not banned.
