FURIA's loss arrives with context that makes it harder. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo announced he would retire at the end of 2026 after twenty years competing at the top of Counter-Strike. Cologne was one of the final Majors remaining in his career. He took FURIA past 9z in the quarters, through Aurora in the semis, and onto the most-watched stage the game has ever produced.
